WHALE WATCHING TOUR IN PUERTO VALLARTA

The great experience of a lifetime aboard Explora Vallarta's incredible ecological adventures is undoubtedly the sighting of the amazing Humpback Whales (Megaptera novaeangliae).

During the winter season from December to March we invite you to take part in this exciting adventure with the marine giants. You will explore the waters of the Bay of Banderas aboard the boat where Explora Vallarta's biologists will guide you through the natural habitat of these mysterious cetaceans. You will discover the different behaviors of the humpback whale, which range from jumping, flippers, mothers with their playful calves, groups of males courting females, and among other things you will hear the enigmatic songs.

Our guides will explain each one of these interesting aspects about their biology, mating rituals, migration, feeding, breeding, etc. In addition to observing these friendly cetaceans, it is very possible to see sea turtles, dolphins, orcas, seabirds and friendly giant stingrays. By making this trip you will contribute to the continuity of the research of this impressive marine mammal where you will actively participate in the photo identification catalog of the humpback whale among others.
