Immerse yourself in the wonderful jungle of Puerto Vallarta walking through the crystalline waters of the Nogalito River. You will enjoy real contact with nature amidst its exuberant vegetation and wildlife. You will be mesmerized by its orchids, bromeliads, giant ferns, and vines.
The Explora Vallarta team will walk by your side towards the top of the mountain. We will observe termite nests used by parakeets to protect their young and listen to the enigmatic songs of the birds. We will walk between hanging walls until we reach a majestic waterfall that has carved a natural pool, the perfect place to cool off and swim.
Relax & Tradition
At the end of the walk, we will arrive at a rustic restaurant nestled in the jungle on the riverbank. Here you will have free time to order lunch or breakfast (extra cost) if you wish. In addition, we will take a tour of the local tequila distillery to learn about the artisanal process of this drink.

What is the difficulty level?
It is an intermediate level. We will walk on irregular paths and cross the river by jumping on rocks, so average physical condition and appropriate footwear are required.
Is the water safe to swim in?
Yes! The Nogalito river is characterized by its crystal clear and clean waters that come directly from the mountain. It is very refreshing.
Is food included?
No, the tour includes light snacks (fruit and bars). At the end, we arrive at a restaurant where you can order full meals at an additional cost.
