Frequently Asked Questions about Diving

What is the probability of seeing large fauna?

In our expeditions it is very common to observe large schools of fish, manta rays, and dolphins. During winter (December to March), it is almost certain to hear the songs of Humpback Whales underwater, a unique acoustic sensation.

What is the difference between dive sites?

Marietas Islands stand out for their volcanic biodiversity and underwater tunnels. Los Arcos offers impressive vertical landscapes like the "Devil's Canyon", while Majahuitas is a tropical paradise of calm waters accessible only by sea.

Can I go if I don't have certification?

Of course! We have certification services for beginners and "Discover Scuba Diving" programs. If you are already certified, just remember to present your card (PADI, NAUI, etc.) upon boarding.

How far are the sites?

We set sail from strategic points to reach Marietas in just 10-15 minutes, avoiding long journeys and seasickness.

Why can't I fly after diving?

For physiological safety and to prevent decompression sickness, divers must not take a flight for 18 to 24 hours after performing two or more dives in a day.

Do you do dives at advanced sites?

Yes, upon request and with a minimum of 4 people, we organize expeditions to high-difficulty sites such as Chimo, El Morro, La Corbeteña, and Corrales, as well as night dives for advanced certified divers.
